Against the criticism Rihanna has received in recent weeks,Usher has backed the singer.
People were of the view that Rihanna crossing her limits with her performances, saying the sexual nature of her X Factor, BRIT Award, Grammy Award and NBA All-Star shows was too much for a family audience.
Usher denied the fact by saying that a few element of suggestion is in keeping with what popstars have been doing for decades.
"Artistic direction is just that, you know, and obviously subjective. Everyone has their opinion and it's a family show." he said whilst appearing on ITV show Loose Women.
Adding: "I think she is a responsible young lady and maybe the song represented the attitude of, you know, think about it like this: how long have guys been grabbing their crotches?"
