Usher perform in James Brown next biopic

Usher, Chris Brown and Eddie Murphy are some of the names bandied around is going to perform in the next James Brown biopic. Late King of Soul's life on the big screen version, directed by Spike Lee are discussed since 2006 and negotiations is an important yet still be placed man, James' daughter has revealed.

Dr Yanna Brown told Artisan News: "We have talked to several people, Eddie Murphy being one of them. In a comedic role, I guess it would have to be Eddie, who would do Dad justice. Chris Brown did such a great interpretation of Night Train at the Grammy Awards, I thought he was wonderful."

Wesley Snipes has been tipped for the role, but the purpose of legal problems the family had to consider other options. Usher is a benefit because they enter Yanna family knows personally, and was close friends with musician.

She said, "I think Usher, more so than anybody, holds near and dear to our family. My dad coined him the godson of soul. Usher is a family friend, we just love him and we are possibly thinking about him for the biopic - so you never know!"
